Flush this Lying Garbage Down the Toilet. For Good

The truth is unthinkable, so the lies just keep getting bigger

Picture Bernankenstein right now running around bragging that he saved the world by burying us in debt. The lies just keeping getting bigger and bolder, ever-more ludicrous. We are well past the lying stage and into the dementia stage. The psychopaths believe their lies, because they've been telling them for years and decades. They can't admit any of it's a lie or else it would all unravel. They would have to admit that they have no fucking clue what they are doing, and never did. The entire narrative would dissolve. When did the lies even begin? When did University and higher learning turn into a drunken frat party?

The last time the truth was broadcast in the U.S.A was in 1979 and unfortunately, the "truth" was viewed as a sign of weakness.

From 1979: "A Crisis of Confidence:"

"During the past three years I've spoken to you on many occasions about national concerns, the energy crisis, reorganizing the government, our nation's economy, and issues of war and especially peace."

It's clear that the true problems of our Nation are much deeper -- deeper than gasoline lines or energy shortages, deeper even than inflation or recession.

"The threat is nearly invisible in ordinary ways. It is a crisis of confidence"

Indeed. Ironically, the very next year, Carter was turfed from office for being a "weak liberal". The truth clearly plays no part in ConnedFidence.

To 1980: Born Again:
"It's Morning in America"
USHistory.org
"The long national nightmare was over." [A mere one year after Carter's speech]

"The United States was filled with hard-working, God-fearing citizens who cared about their fellow Americans. Inflation and unemployment were problems of government, not the national character."

"These themes soothed a nation sick with the malaise of the 1970s. When all had seemed lost, a grandfatherly figure stepped forth and optimistically reassured Americans that the age-old beliefs they held about the grandeur of the United States were not myths."

"Reagan's victory over the incumbent Carter was an electoral vote landslide. He tallied 489 votes to Carter's 49."

Fast forward to today and the lies just keep getting bigger:
U.S. Federal Debt as % of GDP

In summary, the U.S. was on the verge of becoming a regular country, going about its own business, when it was rescued from such a pedestrian fate by a generation of lying sociopaths willing to tell and believe lies of any magnitude just to propagate the fantasy of American Exceptionalism aka. Exxon, McDonald's, and Walmart.

The rest will be archaeology.
